Dublin Hotel
Editorial
It's a little hard to imagine an Irish bar with 28 plasma and LCD screens. What do the Irish need with that many TVs? Sure, they're passionate about their football, but that only explains a few months of the year. TV in general seems to be a part of Irish culture, owing mainly to the crappy weather (they say the usual way to tell the season is to measure the temperature of the rain). Luckily for The Dublin Hotel, you've got more to keep your eyes on.
Just to start, The Dublin is home to some of spunkiest staff this side of Barcelona, serving up some of the best Irish beer the nation has to offer. That translates as Guinness. Sure, there are a few more (Dublin Stout?), but why go past the black liquid when wanting to look that part. Of course, there are more reasons to come here - DJs on a weekend, kick-arse restaurant downstairs, a large balcony upstairs, three-hour happy hour etc - than just the booze. The toilets here are ? just kidding.
The Dublin is also home to that most famous of Irish traditions; the 100 Pint Club. Pull up a chair, down 100 pints and become a local legend. And once those Guinness glasses settle in, you'll be the most attractive person in the bar (so you'll believe, anyway). And lucky for you there's a dancefloor on which to prove all that false bravado. Indeed, if it weren't for the elbow-to-elbow crowds of a weekend, The Dublin may just become more a home to the Irish than a drinking destination.

had dinner there a few weeks ago... we expected a wait as it was a saturday night... but we waited 30 mins to get our drinks... a further 30 mins to get a bowl of chips...and in total an 1 hour and 45 min to get our main courses... when they finally came out one dish was tasteless and the other 2 were luke warm or cold!!!
