My father has been going here for years for coffee but we only discovered it a couple of weeks ago. While it is off the beaten tourist track I think this is one of the hidden gems of Glenelg. Great location for coffee and breakfast in the early morning sun and well shaded in the afternoon. Right across the raod from Coles so parking is easier than Jetty road. The locals who mostly inhabit the place sure know how to keep it to themselves - until now.

We booked a table for 12 people for city-to-bay. When we arrived we asked which table was for us and we were seated outside but once other people came, staff made us move inside which was very rude. They made us wait for an hour before serving us 9 big breakfast and served everyone else who came after us, the bacon was cold, coffee was horrible, the staff was not apologetic for serving late they were rude and argumentative. I am not going back there again for group bookings. It was bad service and staff certainly needs lessons in hosiptality and service.
