Live music is a strong part of the identity of this pub. It supports the talented local emerging scene six nights a week with an open mic night, acoustic night, chill out, rock out and jazz nights and DJs on the weekend. And there's no door charge for any of it! They offer loads of drink specials and even a membership option to make your dollars stretch much further.
Not only can you drink easy here, the food is great quality and very reasonably priced with mains starting from $9.90 through to $28.90 for the Seafood Platter. And the portions are generous.
The place has a definite student edge to it, but is not dominated by this. Not surprisingly though, as it's located right next door to Uni SA and Adelaide TAFE, and is submerged in the artistic, cultural end of Hindley Street. This mix of dynamics provides a lively atmosphere where all types and ages are welcome.

This pub is a great find. Food is exceptional value for money, great drinks and the music is among the best in town.
