Sugar provides all the stamina you need for a big night out in the east end.

Editorial

When heading out for a big night of dancing, or just to chill and enjoy a late night drink or two, Sugar is the choice of venue for many Adelaide nightlife seekers. It's located on the upmarket end of Rundle Street, which means you can start early and go out for dinner at any of the wonderful restaurants in the precinct, then when night falls, head upstairs to continue the night with class, cocktails, DJs and dancing.

At the very slick, futuristic 60's-styled bar you'll find pretty much anything you fancy. There's a great list of cocktails, wines, spirits and beers. You won't be bored for choice, that's for sure. You'll be paying club prices here and you may have to pay a door charge to get in, but let's face it, firstly you're not at the pub, and second, it's still less expensive than what you'd pay when clubbing in most other cities.

If you're the get-up-to-get-down type, then you'll be pleased to know that DJs play every night of the week from around 9pm. Don't expect too much room on the dance floor on Fridays and weekends, but the more the merrier, right? The place is busy because it is known to be busy and the vibe is high. If you're not into shakin' your bacon, then just grab your drinks and your friends and swiftly obtain a private booth to enjoy your evening, sitting, in one of Adelaide's most happening nightclubs.
