Mojo West
Editorial
There's something about the bars on Hindley Street which makes people loose their minds. Not ??loose their mind' in a Natural Born Killers way; more in a 1960's, psychedelic kinda way. Free love aside, Mojo West is one bar where you'll probably be able to find said loosing of mind and/or morals on most weekends. Don't think of it as a bad thing. Think of it more as a necessary part of furthering our species. ??nuff said.
Filling the gap between after-work destination and end-of-the-night pit stop, this bar has kept the partiers of Hindley Street socially lubricated for many years now. Decked out in a plethora of sofas and pouffes, low tables and bar stools, there's many a reclining option to pursue in one of the many chilled out lounge areas. And if you'd like to pursue something a little more vertical (horizontal?), there's plenty of space on the dancefloor. Mind you, with some of Adelaide's top DJ talent (you never thought you'd see those four words together, did you?) hitting the decks every Friday and Saturday, finding space may be easier said than done.
But if you're after a more genial time of it, the beer garden outside offers welcome respite from the hot and sweaty masses (not that there's anything wrong with that) inside. Grab a jug of your favourite beer and some friends, and you've got an instant Sunday session in the bag.
