Loco
Editorial
Loco is truly one bar where the name belies the actual venue. No, you won't find a train carriage wedged into the bar area (as fitting as this may be in the old Adelaide Railway Station). Nor will you find a mariachi band plucking away at their guitars and violins with wild abandon. What you will find is a stylish, little bar of swank cocktails and smooth grooves. Have you got your ticket to ride? Well you best get on board!
Naturally, the venue is designed with the intent to keep you indoors, throwing money at those gambling tables and coming back for more social lubrication. And Loco achieves this aim in flying colours, with modern decor and a rich colour scheme of inspiring reds. And a treat for all those Wall Street wannabes out there is the drink ?share market' system. As the stock's (drink's) share price falls, so does the price. What can be more Michael Douglas than that?!
The assortment of DJ and live entertainment offers one a chance to indulge in a spot of bird watching (BYO binoculars) while downing another martini or cosmo. With a mix of top 40 dance tracks, funk and pop moving you through the week, you could just as easily start your night here as finish it off in style. Mind you, after making use of the various happy hours, you might not be able to use those legs to walk out or dance either way.
