La Trattoria Restaurant
Editorial
Popular, affordable and deliciously reliable, folks in Adelaide have long depended on La Trattoria as a prime source of fantastic Italian food. Guests to the Adelaide Grand Prix traditionally enjoy the Parisi family's hospitality (as the many photos and signatures of racing car drivers and minor celebrities will attest) and with a hearty menu that's custom made for hungry Italian men, drivers and large families we can see why! The food comprises award-winning pizza, traditional veal and chicken dishes as well as every possible southern Italian pasta; giving you the unsettling feeling of wanting to eat everything on the menu at once.
The relaxed staff, out of the way location on King William Street and late nights all combine to provide a comforting feeling of familiarity. Strong smells of garlic and mature service complete the at-home feeling. Since the mid-eighties not much about La Trattoria has changed. You can still rely on La Trat for a late meal after the theatre or cinema seven nights a week, and you can still look forward to a friendly welcome from the Parisi family who make sure the food is served hot, fresh and in the Calabrian style.

Fantastic. How else do you have a restaurant survice over 34 years in business? We have been going since we were kids.
