Kopi Tim Restaurant

Malaysian food is a wonder, but not always the first point of call when you’re in the mood for Asian cuisine. It could hardly be described as ‘light’ or ‘clean’ like Japanese or Vietnamese and while it’s as robust as Chinese food, the traditional dishes such as laksa, kway teow or mee goreng couldn’t be more different. Malaysian food is complex and rich and while Kopi Tim does a mean assam laksa (a pungent and spicy noodle soup), not all dishes are up to scratch. There are several Chinese items on the menu, however best to stick to the Malaysian offerings.
