First there's a twinkling glass of sparkling wine, then my attention shifts to a plate of delicately prepared sandwiches. Good golly it must be high tea time! And it doesn't stop at bubbles and sandwiches. There's a great selection of cocktails, wines and beers to help all the days troubles slip away. Now I'm not suggesting that one who drinks between the hours of 2:30pm and 4:30pm is a troubled soul, but that is when high tea happens. And let's face it, if you find yourself loitering in a hotel lobby on the weekend, which can happen to all of us from time to time, what better way to pass an hour or two?

One must finish up their high tea experience with some tea and scones, or a delightfully tasty French pastry, and maybe another cocktail? You'll be, as I was, gliding out of the foyer and onto the pavement, in your weekend best and without a care in the world.

Okay then, maybe the bar is better utilised for pre-theatre drinks or some post-show dinner. The Atrium Lounge is located only a few paces from Adelaide's arts and culture precincts and numerous other bars and entertainment venues. It's a convenient and pleasant place for drinks and nibbles to make you nice and bouncy before heading out to enjoy all that Adelaide has to offer.

We had a fanatastic time with friends the cocktail lsit was endless and the decor very comforatble. We will be there agian next weekend...loved it
