Adelaide Town Hall is one of the city’s landmark buildings and a symbol of its rich cultural life. Built in 1866 it has hosted weddings, festivals, commemorations and, perhaps most famously, an appearance by The Beatles on the balcony in 1964, which attracted an estimated 300,000 fans, their biggest crowd.
