Malaysian food is a wonder that’s full flavoured and not shy on spice. A Taste of Spice is a cool and casual diner that sports an American jazz theme – this is not as unusual as you may think, the 90’s were big for Malaysian food coupled with cool jazz. Perhaps this is the trouble with A Taste of Spice, with standards slipping recently they could well do to move things forward. Having said that some of the old favourites are still done well. The ikan bilis (deep fried anchovies) is a great starter and the nasi goreng is well executed.
