La Kasbah Restaurant

Maghreb cuisine is one of the wonders of the gastronomical world. This blend of Moroccan, Algerian and Tunisian food combines the robust flavours of northern Africa with strong Mediterranean influences. However, this complex cuisine can be difficult to master, so when a restaurant adds French to the list as well, things can get tricky. La Kasbah’s menu features a good selection of Tunisian dishes such as spicy lamb sausages and tagines and then launches into classic French offerings like snails. It’s all rather disconcerting. However, stick to the chicken, honey and prune tagine and all will be fine. Pricey to boot.
