The name may sound a little down market, but the Satay Hut's actually rather swish once you settle inside, with a row of booths in front of a wall of dark wood framed windows overhung by pendant lighting. A pagoda-style bar is finished with green mosaic tiles which contrast with wood, and a smooth stone floor ups the cool factor. It’s the food that really impresses though, with a focus on authentic Thai and Malaysian dishes with fabulous flavours. It’s all about ordering a variety of dishes and sharing with good friends. Top tip: BYO isn't allowed on Friday or Saturday nights, so tuck into their bottled beer range or reasonably priced wine list.
