Ginga Japanese Restaurant
Editorial
Ginga restaurant is a great example of Japanese dining in Brisbane. The menu stays true to traditional Japanese cuisine and has variety and freshness to suit the palate of both seasoned connoisseurs and novices alike. The staff are friendly and accommodating, drawing a great contrast between the outside world a few feet away on the footpath and the authentic feel and decor of the al fresco and indoor dining areas.
Dazzle your tastebuds with the exquisite gyoza (Japanese-style dumplings) or one of the ocean-fresh sashimi dishes. Moving on from the entrees, there is a broad choice of traditional style dishes to appease a variety of tastes. A favourite of mine is the theatrical hot plate which comes straight from the kitchen, piping hot and sizzling. There is indeed a great variety of choice on the menu at Ginga, enough I dare say to even appeal to the non sashimi crowd out there. For the sushi lovers among you, Ginga has an adjacent take-away sushi bar and then there is the actual Ginga Sushi Bar further down Grey Street. A fine addition to the myriad of multicultural taste sensations to be sampled on Grey Street.
