Trained in the regional fare of Venice and Italy, executive chef Michelle Salvador delivers a carefully balanced and well-received menu that offers diversity and a distinctly Italian fusion of flavours.
Take the time to peruse and contemplate the flavoursome combinations that leap from the pages of Dell Ugo's menu. To sample as many flavour-filled items as possible, groups are wise to enjoy a range of shared dishes, such as the hot favourite, frittura Veneziana di calamari e gamberi, which features fried prawns, calamari and zucchini with rocket salad and a side of chilli oil. From the mains menu, one dish that has stood the test of time is the Dell Ugo signature crab lasagne. Lavish layers of silky pasta are filled with a combination of fresh seafood and cherry tomatoes, and finished with garlic and white wine in a bechamel sauce, creating a great mainstay favourite.

Give it a miss - they asked us to leave last night having ordered two $18 desserts, a $14 port and two coffees saying they don't do dessert and coffee when the restaurant is half empty. Don't whine about hard times when this sort of service is extended to patrons willing to pay your exhorbitant prices (well not willing anymore!)

We had the same experience after walking back from the theatre. I was furious - don't they understand there is a market for after theatre dessert and coffee?? Customers willing to pay and the staff just standing there. Please explain the logic of this. Our reaction was the same - never again!!! PS We were regulars too!!
