I have dined at this restaurant a few times in large groups. The service has always been mediocre. Recently I took my daughter for breakfast. The waitress completely ignored us. We were only served (30mins later) when I asked the cashier to get the waitress to take our order. Another 30mins had passed, the food, nowhere to be seen. I tried to get the waitress's attention but she continually ignored us. I finally got up and spoke to another waitress. I was then advised that my order was not placed in the system. over 1hr 15mins of waiting, you can understand my anger and fustration. Before leaving (starved for food) I walked over to the waitress and expressed my dissatisfaction. She gave no apology. This will definitely be the last time I step into Toscani's Southbank! I'll be sure to advise my colleagues, friends and family of my fustrating ordeal. There are better restaurants to eat in Southbank, most notably; La via (my favourite), The Deck, Fith Element, Ginga and Denim cafe.
