The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) is home to the Playhouse Theatre which is one of the most cutting edge venues in the state. Its design is in the traditional proscenium stage and boasts a flexible proscenium arch, orchestra pit and a Biltflor sprung dance floor. The Marriage of Figaro was the Playhouse’s opening production in 1998, which starred Geoffrey Rush.
