The Full Moon Hotel was a lovely suprise for us. We were not expecting much from a hotel as we have had some bad experiences in the past with other 'local hotels', however the gorgeous view, superb layout and furnishings, the scrumptious food and the great staff made it a very enjoyable night. We will certainly be regulars, and with the weekly entertainment and free wine and cheese nights, I recommend this hotel for everyone. It's so peaceful and relaxing. Ask for David, he recommends the best dishes, and knows them well! Fantastic staff, service and food!

We have eaten at the Full Moon Hotel a few times, however our last visit was a big disappointment. My husband ordered oysters kilpatrick and I a trio of dips for starters. My husbands oysters were very small and one had a large piece of shell in it. My dips were poor quality and tasted like refrigerator. Next I ordered prawns and my husband ordered a cured trout dish with cheese souffle. My prawns were lovely but my husbands meal left a lot to be desired. We walked out having paid $70+ for a poor quality meal. Mind you, their bar food is great so I would recommend keeping things simple!
