The Brisbane Powerhouse was built in 1928 and reopened after a major refurbishment in 2000. Turbine Hall is a large cathedral-like space and the Turbine Platform is located within the hall. Large scale music events regularly take place and a free weekly music program and comedy program are also on offer.
