The Queens Arms Hotel – or “the QA” as it is affectionately known – offers you the tradition and atmosphere the iconic hotel is renowned for, combined with a modern vibe. The kitchen has undergone a recent transformation, with a new menu focused on fresh, traditional fare and great weekly specials.

Editorial

Walk off the street and into this funky restaurant and you won't be disappointed. The QA Hotel Restaurant is urban without being pretentious and immediately feels inviting. With lunch and dinner on offer daily everyone from workers, friends and couples can enjoy the modern pub food within the cosy surrounds of the restaurant. Light meals start at around $5.50 with chunky fries and continue through to steak sandwiches, salt and pepper curly squid and crumbed cod. There is a range of salads, including marinated beef, wood-fired pizzas, grilled chicken breast and a beef and Guinness pie. Steaks are a big hit on the menu with rib eye, rump or eye fillet served with a choice of sauces but the rack of pork with apple sauce, redcurrants and port gravy is also a hot option. Fish lovers will be kept happy with the fish of the day or the seafood platter while the adventurous can chow down on the char-grilled kangaroo.

The variety of meals available is matched by the selection of wines and for those out to celebrate a special occasion, QA can shake up a wicked concoction from their cocktail bar. There is a live band to groove to every Sunday from 2pm along with DJs who work the tables during the week. Play a lazy game of pool after lunch or enjoy a meal while watching your favourite sporting match. QA's menu and weekly specials offer diners a classic experience in a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere.
