When you want traditional Italian food you generally want the atmosphere that goes with it too. You want that big, friendly hospitality that Italians do so well. Spizzico owners, Angelo and Silvana Di Bartolo, are big on the hospitality and pretty serious about their food too. This bustling restaurant keeps punters happy with robust pastas such as veal tortellini with blue cheese, prosciutto and radicchio in a creamy sauce, or hearty mains like marinated quails with a balsamic vinegar jus and crispy polenta. While it can get pricey here, the service is good. Don’t leave without trying their legendary tiramisu.
