Mitho Nepali restaurant in Fortitude Valley serves up authentic Nepalese cuisine within warm, welcoming and uniquely decorated surrounds.

Editorial

Mitho Nepali is perhaps one of the few authentic Nepalese restaurants in Brisbane. Adorned with portraits, photographs and maps collected on various trips to Nepal, and offering low-to-the-ground timber tables and cushioned seating, Mitho Nepal is praised for its authenticity by returned travellers who frequent the restaurant. Not to mention the delicately prepared cuisine. Regulars rave about the momos - dumplings stuffed with savouries such as chicken, potato or cheese, or sweet chocolate, then steamed and fried.

This family owned business is naturally friendly, making the restaurant warm and welcoming. With a distinctly homely feel, Mitho Nepali stands out from the crowd of multicultural restaurants located in the Valley. Its dahl dish, served with chicken, lamb or in its traditional vegetarian form is another specialty and, with main meals all under $20, Mitho Nepali is good value for money. Fully licensed and with a private dining room upstairs, it's also an ideal location for corporate or large group bookings on a budget. Mitho Nepali sources all produce locally and prepares everything on the menu from scratch. This restaurant is a rare find.
