Positioned on an open-air corner site of Emporium, Buzz is a sophisticated vibrant busy eatery that creates delectable cuisine throughout the day. The “fresh is best” ideology rules the kitchen which only uses premium seasonal produce and ingredients in its dishes. Fabulous pickings start with the breakfast menu. Select between the likes of toasted banana and pistachio bread with ricotta and leatherwood honey or stacked blueberry and ricotta pancakes with grilled mango and bacon, drizzled with maple syrup. If you’re a patron on a mission, the “build your own Buzz breakfast” is superb. Select from such delights as double-smoked Chriberg bacon, house-made black pudding, avocado salsa and Boston beans.
For later noshing sessions, Buzz presents amazing fare in an approachable environment which remains modest yet classy. Coffee is brewed to perfection, freshly-made juices are invigorating and the service is professional and savvy. Lunch impresses with innovative options such as roast Bangalow pork sandwiches with apple sauce, crackling and rocket or Wagyu beef burgers served with French fries. A fresh spanner crab and chili linguini with gremolata and a confit duck Maryland – which arrives on a warm salad of tatsoi, pumpkin and tomatoes, finished with a black cherry dressing – are a wonderful way to treat your tastebuds. A meal at Buzz makes for a memorable bistro dining experience and keeps the palate inspired.
