Citysearch® 2010 Best in the City Winner: Best Friday Night Drinks.

Nestled on Constance Street, Barsoma is close enough to the city to be buzzing but not smack bang in the middle of the valley. The venue spreads across a downstairs bar, open-air courtyard and upstairs lounge. Tapas and smaller dishes to share are the go here, which is just what you want when it comes to shooting the breeze with a group of friends or kicking back with some hard-earned after work drinks. Just don’t expect to order a main meal at Barsoma. Ideal for easing into a long night on the tiles, Barsoma is a stylish place to begin your night out with a classy cocktail and a few tapas plates to graze on.

The menu here also adapts to the changing seasons, offering something different throughout the year. A few of the stars of the tapas menu are the prosciutto wrapped haloumi with asparagus, the crispy handmade spring rolls and the mushroom balls with salmon and cream cheese. Comfortably able to cater for around 250 people, Barsoma hosts live music acts to jazz up your night. The bar is a key player in the Barsoma show and boasts a swathe of good liqueur and liquid refreshments to appease your thirst. The staff are well versed in their knowledge of the different spirits and liqueurs and can certainly conjure up something special to suit the occasion.
