La Bocca
Editorial
La Bocca, meaning mouth or taste in Italian, lends its namesake here for this small but busy restaurant in Lytton Road. A popular and sought after destination for the crowds that flock to this well-love restaurant, La Bocca offers a lively dining experience within super stylish surrounds. The design suits its upbeat trade and lunchtime is always packed to bursting point. So much so that La Bocca has derived a lunchtime special to accommodate the flow. At an affordable $6.50, patrons can enjoy their choice of salad, pasta, wraps or pizza. The cuisine is modern Italian and embraces some truly inspired variations on many traditional dishes.
Of an evening, diners can be tempted by any one of the dinner mains on offer. A popular item, especially among return customers, is the layered duck, rocket and spinach lasagne. This intriguing deviation of a well-founded Italian cornerstone dish combines the new with the old with impressive results. Vegetarians, too, are catered for here; another in-house favourite is the roast pumpkin pizza and it alone has established its own fan base. Booking is highly recommended, especially if you are travelling far enough for it to matter. So, if you want a satisfied bocca, you'd better wrap it around something delightfully yummy at La Bocca.

Can't see this one in the top ten! It wasn't busy but we couldn't find someone who spoke English to understand our order (nor Italian!) and the food needs to do better to be on this list.
