Dining is a pleasure at Novotel Brisbane with Cilantro Restaurant & Terrace presenting international cuisine with Asian influences.

Editorial

Cilantro grill and restaurant has introduced a new dining experience to its menu. Knowing quality dishes are best enjoyed with good company, Cilantro serves meals designed to be shared between guests.

The décor of the restaurant is sleek and with a modern edge while the broad outdoor terrace has a casual feel and is ringed with trees and foliage. The restaurant's shaded outdoor dining and luxurious interior creates a sense of seclusion, though the city centre is just a few streets away.

Cilantro may be a hotel restaurant, but the locals are more than welcome too. They often enjoy attending for business lunches or relaxed afternoon dining with friends. The Cilantro tasting plate offers a selection of three starters that vary each night with similar assiettes available for desserts. Dishes are presented in a style that encourages communal dining.

The popular seafood platter includes grilled prawns, Moreton Bay bugs, barramundi pieces, and fresh oysters - a selection begging to be picked at by curious fingers. A wide range of freshly sizzled meats are also available, as well as vegetarian pastas that are creamy yet light.

Cilantro offers Queensland guests a slice of the state's very best produce serving diners a mouth-watering array of food. The prawns, fish and oysters all come from North Queensland, while the other ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible. Tamborine Mountain blue cheese, and Wulkulaka chicken breast are always featured throughout the menu, along with a selection of wines taken from the Granite Belt south of Brisbane.
