Downstairs at The Grove Establishment a pub atmosphere thrives, with a pool table room, bar, sofa-lined walls and a green and leafy beer garden out back. The bar has Coopers Pale Ale on tap (always a drawcard), and a great range of liquors too. Head up the stairs and around the corner to find an inviting and classy restaurant setting, with outdoor dining options, fine dining and an open kitchen where the friendly chefs are keeping busy. With a wine list to boot, the relaxed but high class feel of the restaurant is notable. Walking towards the entrance, the atmosphere changes again. A cafe-style cake and sandwich cabinet and coffee bar run from 6.30am out the front.
During the day, the footpath is spattered with chairs and tables, as people wander in for a relaxed coffee, sandwich, salad or pizza and a chat. The staff are friendly, and serve quality espresso coffee. Quietly isolated from the rest of the Grove, there is even a conference room, complete with wireless internet and audiovisual equipment. The Grove Establishment is open Monday to Sunday all year round.
