Champagne, freshly shucked oysters and a Darwin sunset… make your way to Yots Greek Taverna for a true taste of the Top End lifestyle. Situated in the heart of Cullen Bay, Yots serves the heartiest of traditional and modern Greek cuisine, with fresh seafood as a feature. Popular with Darwinites and visitors to the Top End, Yots' waterside location is perfectly suited to festive occasions, family outings and romantic dinners. Indoor and outdoor dining areas cater for all types of weather - cool dry-season evenings, the steamy build-up, or spectacular wet-season thunderstorms. A recent innovation is the introduction of tables for two along the lower deck. At water level, these offer a more intimate setting for quieter dining with unobstructed views of the pink reflections at dusk. You'll be supplied with a platter of bread to toss to the fish which become frisky beneath the night lights and feel close enough to catch.

Yots shucks your oysters on the spot - they don't come any fresher. While you're waiting, a great appetiser is triangles of warm flat bread with Yots' richly creamy tzatziki dip. Other authentic Greek fare includes delicious mezze platters, fried cheeses, the voluptuous moussaka and fragrant stuffed eggplant nestled on a tasty chickpea bed. When you order your mains, be aware that they are substantial and unlikely to leave you hungry. The dessert menu is equally impressive. So if you can't possibly squeeze in a slice of that exquisitely sweet galaktobourikis (a Greek custard dessert), take one away for the next day. It's not to be missed!
