In 1935 Bojangles started as a guesthouse offering accommodation and simple but warm hospitality. Over the years the site housed the Teapot Inn (1956 - 1967) and the Centre Restaurant (1967 - 1978). It was after this that the Central Australian icon, Bojangles, began. It inherited its name from Mr Bojangles - the man who dances.
