Chang Ton Thai is an oasis of calm amongst the wilds of Penshurst Street, offering up authentic and ridiculously tasty Thai food full of fresh flavour. There are no thrills to be had here, just down to earth and honest fare that's as good for the soul as it is the belly. The place does a roaring trade, but swift and efficient service means you never have to wait too long for a table. It's a genuine gem on the north shore, and as with some of the city's best Thai restaurants, it won't cost you an arm and a leg either, with BYO wine good to go too.
