Built in 1881, the hotel was renovated in 1996 to provide extra accommodation and in 2004 Violante's Italian Restaurant was opened. The hotel offers casual accommodation with a relaxed do-it-yourself breakfast with rooftop views of Ultimo and Pyrmont.
