The GPO used to be stuffed full of packages waiting to be delivered, now it's just stuffed full of bars! Lord knows how many there actually are in this joint - it seems to go on forever. One thing's for certain - the Crystal Bar is one of the swishest and simultaneously cosiest of all of them.
Down a short flight of stairs, this gorgeous haunt is buried happily beneath the swarms of Martin Place. Seemingly carved from red sandstone, an amber glow suffuses this bijoux bunker. The main bar is arranged around a stage that plays host to some hot and steamy burlesque shows every Saturday night.
Skirting round the edges of the banquette strewn floor are private booths concealed behind gold beaded curtains, that provide the perfect smooch point for star crossed lovers, or gossip station for friends with secrets to spill. It's all part of the intimate glamour of the venue - and offers a respite from the weekend crowds around the bar. There's even table service so your cocktail arrives with the minimum fuss.

For a different night of entertainment with friends it ok but a little slow and same same, lucky they found the Tall Gymnist to colour the act.
