India Quay

Restaurants love compliments from celebrities, that’s a fact. However the first thought the rest of us have when reading such praise is, ‘would I be treated the same if I went there?’Big names such as Olivia Newton-John and the late billionaire Richard Pratt, have praised India Quay for their quality of food and service – don’t expect the same when you visit. While you may experience cheerful and attentive service one night, things can be very different the next. The curries are flavoursome, but could do with more of a punch. Best stick with more popular dishes such as the palak paneer. The location is a plus.

After my visit to India this is the first place I got to eat authentic Indian food which is hard to find. The food was spicy worth sweating it out. Service was great all out to please the diners. Cheers

True and appropriate. This restuarant is located just opposite ferry wharf 2 and cannot be seen whilst walking to Opera House. Value for money for this location. Food had unbelievable spices and light and desired to have more of it.The Chicken Jalfrezi and Navratna Korma is worth trying. Service was truly friendly and personal also wanting to be back again

Terrible service. The manager was rude and impolite. Dishes were cold and watered down. Not authentic at all and would not recommend it at all. It is the worst Indian food I have eaten in Australia and as an Indian I am quite sure it is a long way from being authentic.
