Felix is just so hot right now, and it looks set to stay that way for some time. Modelled on New York’s legendary Balthazar, this authentic bistro is doing good things. Complete with Bentwood chairs, Parisian subway tiles and chandeliers, it’s a chic atmosphere indeed. Chef Lauren Murdoch excels with her impressive menu which includes must-haves such as crumbed lamb brains with ravigot sauce and steamed daikon, Tripes a la Lyonnaise and their magnificent Reuben Sandwich served with a mountain of dill pickle. Monday through Saturday sees a plats du jour, Mondays suckling pig makes a nice start to the week. A good wine list and excellent service.
