Billed as Sydney's most accessible venue (Central Station but a stones throw), welcome to The Gaelic Theatre.

Editorial

As a large venue, The Gaelic continues to prove popular with music fans but rebranding (formerly it was known as The Gaelic Club) and recent renovations have made the most of the split-level mezzanine design. Event promoters with an eye on The Gaelic now have the programming option of full capacity of 600 or smaller more intimate 200 - 300 should the event dictate, and there are generous bar facilities on each level to keep punters happy.

Music wise, The Gaelic can hold its head high as a champion of live rock, if some what non-mainstream, and these days the venue boasts sound and lighting hardware to support such acts - we're talking a powerful NEXO Alpha E sound-system which in layman's terms translates to a shit load of sound.

But there is more to The Gaelic than seriously kick ass live music. It is also the venue of choice for the Sydney Fetish Ball, alternative style dance parties, burlesque nights and even improvisational comedy. And punters at the Gaelic make the most of the extended license and plentiful kebab and cheap eats nearby.

Worst venue in Sydney. Too small for most of the acts that play there.
