It’s a thing of beauty when a café gets everything right. Four Ate Five took some big chances opening in the already café dense Surry Hills, but they had a simple plan that works. Create a casual, welcoming atmosphere, use good quality produce, do great food and very good coffee. The coffee is Single Origin, which no-one seems to be able to get enough of. The menu includes dishes such as Moroccan eggs – baked eggs in a tomato sauce with almonds and yogurt and the lunch favourite, the pulled pork sandwich. Communal tables add to the convivial vibe.
