You’re in Star City Casino and you have cash to splash, a thirst to quench, and a slight superiority complex. I give you: Oasis Lounge. Situated above the main gaming floor and the Trophies Bar, Oasis Lounge is an enticingly glitzy cocktail and gaming bar in which you are unlikely to fatten your wallet. Bright lights run around the lounge like a hyperactive child and people below dance frantically to the latest 4/4 beat Rhianna’s producers spent thirty seconds making.
But I digress.
Oasis Bar is a bit of an enigma. If you came to Star City for a drink, the Astral Bar on the 17th floor provides stunning drinks and an even better view of the city and harbour. And if you came to the casino to gamble, you’d be doing it downstairs, because Oasis Bar’s games (roulette, blackjack, pontoon) have low limits.
However, if you wish to drink strong drinks AND gamble, at the same time, which is extremely Las Vegas of you, then perhaps Oasis is what you are after. One of my workmates told me he once got free drinks all night, but to do that you either need to tip the waitress well, gamble constantly, or both. You are unlikely to walk out of this bar a richer man, but that may well be what you’re looking for.
