Momofuku opened its waterfront venue, Seiobo late 2011, and what a wonder it is to behold. Named after the Japanese goddess of the west, her symbol, the peach tree, is the logo of this fabulous eatery. Pale lighting bathes the slickly minimalist interior, leaving the real drama to the dishes. Chef David Chang’s tasting menu does all the hard work for you, using the freshest seasonal ingredients, and showcasing Momofuku’s fabled steamed pork bun. Even better, they cook up and plate right in front of you, for that extra special moment of foody heaven.
