The Lower North Shore outpost of Thai Intra is a firm favourite with the locals, and is never short of a crowd as a result. In particular their sublime salt and pepper squid is worth the wait for a table alone, and has the mouth watering from the first bite to the last. While thai restaurants aren't exactly rare in this neck of the woods, the food stands out head and shoulders above the rest and the friendly, efficient service seals the deal. It may look a little dated these days, but that's testament to the joint's staying power.
