It's strange in this day and age of healthy eating that bakeries are the new 'it' cafes. If you're a sweet-tooth, Central Baking Depot is pure and unadulterated heaven. Their three stores are bright, modern and those jam-packed display cabinets are more than inviting. From the pain au chocolat to the pear, almond and chocolate tart to the brulee lemon curd tart, you cannot go wrong. For those after savoury tastes look to the lamb and harissa or pork and fennel sausage rolls or their beautifully made sandwiches. They use single origin coffee which goes extremely well with a cocoa meringue.
