Cine Restaurant + Bar
Editorial
Nestled among the buzzing belt of restaurants in Moore Park’s Entertainment Quarter, Cine Restaurant dishes up all the scrumptious favourites in a casual atmosphere. This large space seats 360 guests, with a contemporary dining room and outdoor seating area sheltered from the elements. The bottles lining the walls at the restaurant’s entry nod towards the substantial wine list, with drops hailing from Australia, Europe and New Zealand. Several televisions dot the walls, but focus your attention on the open kitchen and wood-fired oven for far more addictive viewing.
Traditional and contemporary dishes merge to form a well-rounded Italian menu, scaling pizzas, pastas and risotto, plus seafood and grill dishes. Start off with the arancini con ricotta – shallow-fried balls of risotto and ricotta served in a scrumptious Napolitana sauce. Cine’s traditional wood-fired pizzas feature an array of toppings to suit all tastes, which sit on 11-inch Napolitano-style bases. Try the salsiccia for its zesty combination of gourmet Italian sausage, mushroom, capsicum and mozzarella or the frutti del mare for a seafood feast of prawns, baby calamari, scallops and mussels. Cine is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, or simply pop in for a tipple.
