Ok, so the thing about dumplings is that not only are they one of China’s greatest culinary contributions to humankind, they are also one of the most inexpensive ways to dine. These plump little morsels are addictive, however, not all dumpling houses are made equal. Wang Wang’s is good, but it’s not great. The service and ambience is below par, but that’s almost obligatory for any dumpling joint. However, the dumplings can also be hit and miss. Having said that, on a good night the house specialty, xiao long bao, with a side of greens can be a great value meal.
