Unlike most Vietnamese restaurants, Thai eateries do seem to focus a little more on décor. This is certainly the case with the Chilli Jam chain. Each restaurant, with the exception of the takeaway location in Burwood, is a funky and stylish fit-out. Low-lighting and comfortable surrounds are a big plus at Chilli Jam. Food wise the duck with mint, shallots and coriander is a great starter and the curries are great value. However, for exceptional value go the banquets. For just under thirty dollars seven course are yours. Be warned, service can be a little slow with meals being staggered at times.
