Representing 46 leading Australian artists, Anna Schwartz is one of the country's pre-eminent commercial gallerists. The cool, calm confines of her two galleries – one in the heart of Melbourne's gallery precinct, the other situated within the award-winning CarriageWorks building in the inner Sydney suburb of Eveleigh – reduce external distractions in order to allow one to focus solely and exclusively on the artworks.
Within the lofty, brightly lit gallery spaces – each of which evokes but subverts the traditional 'white cube' concept – works by some of the country’s most exciting contemporary artists, including Shaun Gladwell, Kathy Temin, Callum Morton and Lyndal Jones are displayed, as well as occasional visiting exhibitions.
