The Oxford Hotel
Editorial
This is a sleek and modern designed venue set over four floors. To catch the talent making their way through Taylor Square, the Social Bar's large deck is the place to be. On the first level you'll find the Supper Club. With its state-of-the-art technology, including a hydraulic DJ booth, and cool lounge setting, this venue is perfect for your latest cabaret. The next flight up, the Polo Lounge, has been featured in many a photo shoot and it's easy to see why. Chesterfields abound, polished oak floors, a double fireplace and a rather regal horse, makes this an elegant setting that seems a long way away from this end of Oxford Street.
Downstairs in the basement, at Club Underground, is where the real action is. Muscled up boys, sans shirts of course, dance alongside leathermen and usually a few girls - who always seem welcome. Themed party nights are popular and special events are held regularly here too.
The Oxford is an institution that has managed to incorporate a community feel within a very swank venue.
