One thing that seems to be ubiquitous with Mexican restaurants is an overwhelming sense of pride in their cuisine. For those for whom Mexican food is still synonymous with nachos, this level of assuredness must be slightly confusing, however, for those who know their Mexican food, they will know this can be an exquisite cuisine. Borderland is a proud restaurant indeed. The décor pays homage to revolutionaries and the menu has some authentic touches too. The quesadillas are fresh and filling and the marinated lamb cutlets and seafood dishes are stand-outs. Friendly atmosphere and good for groups.
