This sweet café is pleasing the locals to no end and here’s why – they know their market. The Coogee crew are a discerning lot and so a little bit of Paris goes a long way. Firstly the coffee comes in bowls and I think most of us are over the cultural cringe enough now to not feel self-conscious about indulging in this French custom. Then there are those crepes. Perfectly made delicacies filled with ham and eggs or mushroom, spinach and ricotta or strawberries or chocolate. There’s also the must try French toast with banana and maple syrup. A quaint and cute eatery.
