The front bar is where all the action is, with ample beers on tap including Coopers Pale and Sparkling, Cascade, VB, Barons Pale Ale, Little Creatures, Tiger Lager and Asahi Super Dry. There's also a massive variety of local and imported bottles, including James Squire, Blue Tongue, Becks, Grolsch and Tui East India Pale Ale from New Zealand. Take note that on Sundays, there's a $10 jugs deal after 4pm, plus free pool and DJs - a great way to while away a lazy Sunday arvo.
For lovers of vino, there's a very respectable wine list with a passionate, if a tad pricey, dedication towards local varieties. Start off with some sparkling Dunes Chardonnay Pinot Noir from Eden Valley, South Australia. Then head over to NZ for some Nautilis Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough.
Take your tipple of choice out the back where there's a killer beer garden with ample green leafy stuff, quirky stone cherubs, murals, and if you're up for it, a bocce area for a quick game. Get yourself a possy on one of the bench seats at a big wooden table, and order from an open kitchen serving great pub pizza, pasta, wagyu burgers and other pub standards. This is a fun and lively beer garden that gets a bit crazy at peak uni-student times.
