They say you can judge a good Vietnamese restaurant by its pho. This can be a dangerous marker as some Vietnamese restaurants are known as great pho restaurants and you won’t see Vietnamese dinars eating anything else from the menu. However, at Xic Lo you’ve got an all-rounder. Yes, the pho here is good and so are a number of other dishes. The rice paper rolls are beautifully fresh served with a full flavoured peanut sauce. Other stand-outs include their delicate and flavoursome salads and the fried quail. It can be a little more pricey than your typical Vietnamese eatery.
