Icebergs Dining Room & Bar
Editorial
While some may equate an evening at Icebergs with the surrendering of their week's wages, it really doesn't have to be that dramatic. You can simply come for a drink or two, and you must, even if it is just the once.
Besides the instant soothing effect of ocean, this bar's surroundings are all designed to make you relax. Blues and greens complete the marine colour palette and the décor is on the minimalist side. No clutter, no bright, bold colour scheme, just lush low couches and the odd hanging pod chair.
While the lounge area is plush and a favourite for Sydney's A-listers, come during the day and try to secure a spot on that balcony. It's sort of a shame to make the visit to Icebergs and not experience the vista.
The wine list is extensive and covers a fairly wide range of budgets. Wines by the glass are reasonably priced, and if it's a special occasion there are plenty of options to drop a cool couple of hundred on a bottle of something you will remember for years to come.
